Peter G, I know I've seen it in recipes before (but couldn't find it at the time), when I saw it at Wholefoods, I jumped at the chance, but then I couldn't find the recipes that called for it. So I just made up other uses. It's great with some vodka mint and seltzer water as well.

Thanks noble pig:-)

White on rice couple, hope the brush works out for you. I've seen some with little things at the tips that I suppose are intended to retain more liquid.

Diva, thanks for the tip on the sprinkles, now I'm going to have to get some. Good luck with your BBQ!

Sharon, I forgot to mention the hairlessness as the other benefit:-)

Laura, I've never been there in summer, but the summers here get too hot and too humid for my tastes. I wish it could be autumn or spring all year long.

Susan, that's kind of my philosophy for food in general (make it simple).

Thanks Kevin.

The kebabs look great! I like that simple, clean marinade. It lets the taste of the meat come through. The pomegranate mollassessounds really interesting too.

Nothing quite beats the flavour of barbequed meat huh? Those kebabs look gorgeous though, pomegranite molasses and lamb go so well together :) Oh how I wish we were coming into summer here...

Pomegranate molasses sounds delicious for a marinade! I recently bought a silicone brush and am so happy I'm no longer finding little bristles in my food.

The kebabs look great!

we're throwing a massive bbq party next friday and the weather is still pretty weird. i have hopes for it though. could try your awesome kebabs. i haven't kebabs in years!

btw, the green tea cooking sprinkles are green tea cooking powder and not matcha. I know they're quite the weird thing but check them out here:
